The
human rights are the fundamental rights that every person have simply by the
fact of being human. These were created after the Second World War be
the United Nations when this came into being as
an intergovernmental organization, with the purpose of saving future
generations from the devastation of international conflict. So, after
this global conflict there was the necessity to create and establish some rules
for all the population trying to avoid another world war.
Nowadays there are thirty human rights and in my case I am
not familiar with the 21st. I
know there is freedom of expression in the Declaration of the Human Rights but
I didn’t know about the fact that everybody has
the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through
freely chosen representatives.
In
our century we can see a lot of countries with a democracy and we think it’s
obvious, but all over the world there are some countries without democracy
because there are dictatorships. Specifically in EUA there is only one
dictatorship (Cuba), another one in Europe (Belarus), 19 in Asia and 16 in
Africa and we can stand out China, North Korea…
So,
there are some populations that are fighting against these dictatorships.
