Final evaluation of First Batxillerat!!

During all the ESO and this year in first batxillerat I think we had learnt our English because of the good work of the department. Probably I have improved my pronuntation these two years because of the orals presentations. This activity is the best to show the improvement of our English because we have to search information on the Internet, write the composition and then speak in public. Evidently another area to show how are in this language are the exams because we have to study grammar, vocabulary…

These vocabulary are in the student’s book and in the another orange book, so we have more and more vocabulary to learn. The language room is a good place to learn more because we can do speaking games, listening, exercises of vocabulary… On the other hand for me are some things that when I do these, I feel like I could do another things to improve my English. For example, some oral games and some songs.

For next year, I think we can continue doing the blog, exams, go to language room, do first certificate tests… But for me is not necessary to do songs because in our house all the students listen English music so, we practise this area in our home.

We have almost learnt to respect the world!!

Climate change or global warming are one of the most popular topics in our days because of the misfortunes that everybody see in the nature. I don't agree with the idea that we have learnt to respect the world. 

Firstly, there are a lot of factories that disregard the world and the nature because they get rid of toxic gases and this causes the destruction of the ozone layer. Everybody are less forests than two hundred years ago because this kind of factories use up the forests to extintion.

Secondly, not always are the biug factories, but also we are the ordinary people with our actions, like use the car everybody to go to all the places, throw the rubbish into the sea.

So, in conclusion, if we want to improve the conditions of the Earth and live in a good place, we have to start to regulate waste and the toxic gases of the big factories, use less our cars and go more with public transport, throw the rubbish that we generate everybody... we still can do a lot of things to save the planet.

The hell and the heaven!!

Yesterday there were the last matches in the league of 2012-2013. There were a lot of things to resolve. On one hand, which team will be in the Champions League next year and on the other hand, who will be the three teams which descended from the category and which team will continue the next year at the first level.

Real Sociedad is one of the teams which have touched the sky, because they achieve what they won’t, be in the next European competition. They won their match and Valencia lose their match, so, this team will be in 

Europe next year while when they started the season they were in places of descended.

Another happy team was Celta de Vigo because they don’t descend into the second category, because they won their last match, so, they will continue at the top.

The hell is for Valencia, which haven’t achieve their objective, be in Champions, and the other ones are Deportivo, Mallorca and Saragossa, that teams have descended.

I have enjoyed the last matches because of the scheme, so I wish lucky for all these teams. 

UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN SPAIN RISES TO 27% IN Q1!!!!

As I talked in my oral presentation, the unemployment rate in Spain increases to 27% in 2013. This means that more than six million people in Spain haven’t worked.

For all the countries are really bad that a lot of people don’t work, but the problem doesn’t finish there, there are more. If a country has a lot of unemployed people, then there is less production, and if there is less production, there will be less national rent and then less consumption. So, is very difficult to reactivate the economy of a country with all this things.

Now Spain is in a really hard situation that a lot of economists compare with the crack of 1929 in United States because of the situation, not the same crisis.

In the best moments in Spain, in the first years of the decade of 2000 the country had a higher unemployment rate, about 9%. United States has now approximately 9% of unemployment; so, we can think that Spain has a vague culture even in their best moments. 

Neymar signs up for Barcelona

Last Sunday the social networks were shaking up because of the signing of Neymar for Futbol Club Barcelona. During a lot of summers all the newspapers and the televisions talked about Neymar, where finally he would go etc. But now this is clearer because FCB announced in their website the singing of the Brazilian player.

Madrid supporters started to criticize the signing of this player because he is very expensive, always he will go to parties, etc.

I think this player what only will do is play football that’s why he is here. Neymar will contribute a lot in the attack of FCB because only Messi is doing something now at the top, so he will contribute goals, magic, dodge, etc.

Neymar is the best football player that plays in Brazil, and now he have to demonstrate his quality in Europe, but I think that he will shut up the mouth of al the journalists that criticized him.

Jose Mourinho to leave Real Madrid at end of the season

Two weeks ago Real Madrid told to Mourinho that he has to find a new club because he was dismiss. But, if we look at the behaviour of Mourinho of this lasts months we can see that he wouldn't be in Real Madrid the next season, he started to do things for his dismiss. He started to have problems with all the historical Real Madrid players. 

The best example is Iker Casillas, for a lot of people, the best goal keeper in the world, we doesn’t play any match since his injury in January. So, I think Mourinho wanted to left out of this club to go to another club without to play against Messi, Xavi, Iniesta… He had lighted a decision and also the club, but all the football society known this since January or February.

Schindler's list!!!

The Schindler’s list is a film of the time of Nazis that talk about the situation of the Jewish. We saw this film in history class and I really like it what the director wants to transmit.

Oskar Schindler was an important business man of the times of Nazis that lives in Crackovia. He had an important company with a lot of Jewish workers because they were cheaper than the other part of society. The main character, Oskar, had his Jewish accountant. But every month a lot of Jewish people death unless Oscar wanted more workers. So, Oskar, at the end of the time of Nazis, he saved 1200 Jewish workers.

For me the best scene was the last one because of the drama of the moment and of the message that the film told  us. So, the director did a good work because told to us how was the really situation. There were moments that probably the film became bored but the assessment is really good.

In conclusion I think this is a good film that transmits with the best form how was the daily life of a Jewish person. I recommend to see this film at all the people that know something about the Nazism, because if you don’t know anything about this topic, then these people won’t understand nothing.

Oral presentation!! Unemployment!!!

I’m very sorry but I can’t put the video in my blog, in YouTube… at any place because of its weight. I thought that the weight was about 700MB but the last day I was trying to put in YouTube and I saw the weight and this was about 1.3GB. I can’t put it in my blog but I have the video in my mobile phone to see how me and David did the oral presentation about unemployment.

Presentation: We won’t to be a caveman so this time we used the Prezi. If you have time, is better to use Prezi that the Power Point because is more beautiful, you can videos and then the downloading is very quickly, there are a lot of types so you can choose the best type for your topic etc. I think we did a normally Prezi, not like a lot of students that are perfectly.

Body language and eye contact: I think that’s the first thing that I have to improve. Normally I’m not very nervous, but in English, I have to speak in a language that is quite difficult because is not our first language. This time I think I have improved this part because I was relaxed talking about topic that I really like.

Structure: I think that the structure is clear and all the public can follow our presentation.

Content: Unemployment is a very relevant an important topic because every day we heard that in news but I think that only some persons were looking and listening the oral presentation. For me is the worst social issue in our country.

Language: We tried to use simple words, but, also we use some technical words because the topic forces to say these words. But the others were very simple.

Pronuntation: I have improved my pronuntation because when I was in my house I looked on a pronuntation dictionary to confirm the pronuntation of the word. I don’t talk like an English man but every year probably I improved my pronuntation.

Social networks!!!!!!

In these days, the 90% of the people in the world apart from the underdeveloped country, use the social network every day, every time… For me, this is a big problem because the social networks were created for help the people, to see the photos of the friends, chat with them, see videos… But nowadays the social networks have become a problem because the adolescents use in excess this. They don’t go out with friends, with girls, talking in face to face, they only have the courage to talk with people with the social networks, then is when they have embarrassment to talk in public, then is when they became rude, when they start to do selling mistakes, etc…

So this causes a lot of problems that not all the society see. Use the social networks in excess is a big problem that the parents don’t controlled. This has been created to use it for personal entertainment, but we are misusing social networks, that after all it origin problems and take away a long time. So I have to say that the society have to use this in balance.

New dog!!! Lebron!!

The last Saturday my father rang me because he wanted to told me an important thing, so I went to my farm very quickly because I thought that something important was happening. When I arrived there, I saw a little dog, and he told to me that was for me. I was very surprised because always I was asked for a dog, so, the day had arrived.

I thought that was a Labrador retriever but my father said that was a Pyrenean mastiff. It has two months and a half and the other day I was finding on the internet the main features about this kind of dog. The Pyrenean mastiff are very loyal, honest, courteous and very playful with the kids. But for me, the strangest thing is its height, this kind of dog can has the height of ninety centimetres and then you have to add the head.

So this summer I think I will have good times with my little dog after works in the summer. The last week we have had a lot of exams so I can’t pay all the attention that all the little dogs have to have.

Final Stage!!!

We are in the last weeks to finish first batxillerat and problably everybody are stressed because in this two weeks we have acumulated all the finals exams and works. 

Now is when all the students are thinking that they  should do the work before or things like that, but I think that we have to prepare and organize the work before because we are in highschool since 2008 and every time is the same, so we have to be more clevers and think this before. 

If we work hard now, then we will stay problably on the beach or on the sofa before to start work in summer, so we have to take advantage now and then we will stay better and less stressed. If we don't work hard now then we will be reply why we are studying for the recoveries.

So, for the people who became stressed quickly, be calm, carry on and work hard to have a little holidays between highschool and summer job!!

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL!!!!

This next Saturday two german teams will play the champions league final for the first time. This two teams have been demonstrated that are a good teams, specially Bayern of Munchen, because they have won their league with a big differnce between the second classificated, and that is Borussia Dortmund, the other german team which will play the great final. 

Before the semifinal of the Champions League, anybody thought that Borussia Dortmund will win Real Madrid, and anybody thought that Bayern of Munchen will win F.C.B for 7-0. But that's the greatness of football. I think that this Saturday the football fans will see a very good match, between two teams that want and like practise a good football, a combinative football.

Germany is the main ecnomic powers in Europe, in Spain, we can only thought that our country are characterize the best football teams, but in this Champions League, the german teams have been demonstrated that they can win Spanish teams and break the topic, specially if you look to the budget of the teams, Bayern of Munchen is the richest one in Europe, and if you combine this with Pep Guardiola, who will be the next manager, I think that we will see a bomb of football next year.

NBA playoffs!!!!

The playoffs of a sport league are a game, a series of games played after the regular season by the top competitors to derminate which team is the champion. Depending of the type of the league, the playofss wil have more matches or less matches.

NBA playoffs is a best of seven elimination tournament with sixteen teams, eight tems for the Eastern Conference and the other eight teams are from the Western Conference. 

When the NBA playofss star is when start the true competition, because in the regular season there is more show, and in playoffs is more competitive. In this periode of the season, is when the fan see the best plays of the players, the matches are more hard-fought, so is why this company is amazing.

This little numbers are the matches of the teams that they won and lost. Well, in my opinion, now, the best team on NBA is Miami Heat, bacause they have the best player in the world and the MVP of the regular season, LeBron James,  one of the best players of the new century, Dwyane Wade, and a strong defense. Now, the NBA conference final are: San Antonio Spurs-Memphis Grizzlies and on the other conference the final is between Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.

I think this playoffs will be very competitive and I hope that Miami will win another consecutive year the NBA cup!!!!

Discussion essay!!

A gap year is time out to travel between life stages. Gap year is the best path to travel around the world and see the costumes, monuments, help poor children, do activities…

On one hand, if you do a gap year you will see things, cultures, traditions that maybe you hear in television or internet but it’s different if you see that in the country, with people from there. Moreover, you will learn a new language or you will continue improving for example your English, because it’s the most important. Besides, doing a gap year, if you go to a poor country, probably you will help a lot of children and you will see their happy faces and you will have a good feeling. So if you travel in a country, you learn a new language, you know more a lot of cultures, you can put in CV all of this and also that you are assurance, a will power person… Consequently, if you do a gap year probably you will admire the boss of a factory.

On the other hand, we are in difficult situation and only a small percentage of society can afford this kind of honours. There is a web that helps people to do gap years but this is not sufficient because it costs a lot. This is the biggest problem to do a gap year, but there are others like sometimes parents don’t want to allow that his son or daughter loses one year or often not all the activities pay the person who has done the gap year.

To sum up, I have to say that a gap year is a good way to know the world and the behaviour of people. For me, there are more things in favour than against this topic, so I invite all the students to do a gap year consulting the web.

Gap year!! Germany!!

A gap year is like a sabbatical year, often people do this gap year after they finish the highschool or the university, to get more experincies in their life, to learn another language, to meet people around the world, to see the views of countries... There is a page to get information and ideas called gapyear.com. In this website there are a lot of information of all the countries do you want, like jobs or courses to do, or simply help people.

If I have to choose one, I would like to go to Germany to learn the leanguage, see the culture and If I can see how some bussiness man manage their companies, because Germany is the main economic powers and the second country that exports more.

I know that do all this things can be difficult because I only have two weeks more or less, but it could be a good experience in my life, so, it could be a good posibility after batxillerat or university.
